Covid 19 Operational Changes

As you've probably guessed there are some changes that we've had to make to the way we run The Fun Drum however we all want to make sure the children have as much fun as possible in the safest possible environment we can create.

We are only accept pre booked customers to Fun Drum for the time being so if you'd like to book online or call us (Booking online is a lot faster for you). The reason we do this is so that we can strictly control the numbers of people and age groups that are at the play centre at any given time - again it's a safety first factor!

To avoid congestion and time delays at reception, sessions have to be paid for in advance by card over the phone and of course sessions are still 2 hours.
Please maintain a 2 metre safe distance between your group & the next at all time. At reception you will be required to scan our NHS QR code for track & trace requirements. If you do not have a smart phone capable of this then you will need to complete a paper form to comply with Track & Trace.

After each session we will be closing for cleaning, sanitizing and then reopening for the next session so we do ask that you observe the end of session announcements and make your way to the exit as quickly and as safely as possible so as not to delay the cleaning process which might delay the next session start time. We do make announcements before end of session times as a polite reminder.

Face masks are to be worn by people over the age of 12 in common areas of the play centre however when you are at your allocated table the wearing of face masks is optional. Of course, if you have some medical reason that precludes you from wearing a face mask then you do not need to do so. As best as we can the ordering of food and drinks is table service.

We recommend regular hand washing as prescribed by UK Government guidelines and we have hand sanitiser stations at Reception & the cafe for you to use. We do not have free standing hand sanitiser stations around the play centre because it is important that adult supervision is used in the application of it.

Please do not visit us if you are showing any symptoms of Covid 19, if you should be self isolating or awaiting a Covid Test result.

As a general rule we always ask if you have had any bouts of sickness or diarrhoea not to visit us until at least 48 hours since the last episode. Also, if you have one of the governments notifiable diseases that are contagious then again we would respectfully ask you not to come.
